Description

I have up for auction an Album Set of 5 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the attractive red and gold His Masters Voice label; this one late '30s, 1939, I believe. Although it is a British Set it is complete with the booklet! It is Set No.146 by Artur Schnabel, Piano and London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Malcolm Sargent. It is Beethoven: Concerto No.5 In E Flat Major-Op.73 ("The Emporer"). The records proceed from First Movement through Third Movement, Conclusion on the 10 sides. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still shiny and clean. Cover and sleeves in very good condition, brown with raised gold lettering! Inside front has musical descriptions as well. See pictures for more details. Great Set!
