Description
RARE. First, a description - three 12 inch discs with white Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures labels on the four side that have music.
The numbering, dates and "Trinidad Number" indicate that two of the discs were the Judy Garland number "Minnie From Trinidad." According to the invaluable book, Scott Schecter's Judy Garland.The Day-by-Day Chronicle Of A Legend, Ms. Garland did the actual recording of this number on January 14th and filmed it on January 18th. The January 20th date indicates this was a test pressing of the song. From what I can tell it was never released commercially on record.
The third disc is also from The Ziegfeld Girl, but scene 2415, dated 1/7/41, apparenly not Judy Garland. Intriguingly, it is titled "Alt Ending" and quite short in duration.
I don't have a 78 player, but the label indicates "R.P.M. 80" anyway - BUT I would grade these discs as Good to Poor - surface soiling and pitting, visible scratches and abrasions.
