Description
I am selling a "Vintage 1942 Decca Presents 'Holiday' Movie Inn Record Set." This is for a vintage 1942 "Decca Present Holiday Inn Movie Song Record Album Set No.306--18M Series". It comes with the original holder and 4 records and the original pamphlet explaining the songs and doing mini biographies on Mr. Crosby and Mr. Astaire. I'm not sure, but they either play at 33-1/3 or 78 rpm. The songs are as follows:
'White Christmas'--Bing Crosby (side A), 'Let's Start the New Year Right', Bing Crosby (Side B) Some chipping to the very edge of the record. Will not affect the songs. (See Photo)
'Easter Parade'-Bing Crosby (Side A), 'Abraham'-Bing Crosby (Side B)
"I'll Capture Your Heart'-Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire (Side A), 'Lazy'-Bing Crosby (Side B)
'You're So Easy to Dance With'-Fred Astaire (Side A), 'I Can't Tell a Lie'-Fred Astaire (Side B)
'Happy Holiday'-Bing Crosby (Side A), 'Be Careful It's My Heart'-Bing Crosby (Side B) This record has a crack near the edge and is ready to break off. It would affect the first minute of the record.
'I've Got Plenty to be Thankful For'-Bing Crosby (Side A), 'Song of Freedom'-Bing Crosby (Side B) Unfortunately the record is broken.

ITEM CONDITION: This record album has some issues described above. It has been in our basement for many years and does have a musty smell to it. There are ways of getting rid of the smell like putting it in the freezer. The holder is in very good condition. And unfortunately two (2) of the records are broken (mentioned above). The price reflects this fact. I have no way of knowing if the records play well. Please see my photos for more detail. Please keep in mind the magnifier shows much more than anyone will ever see.
