Description
According to the Enrico Caruso site, this is one of the rarest Caruso recordings. While recorded originally in 1918, Victor Records did not release until RCA Victor shared with its Dealers in 1947. Interesting story that Victor thought the quality of the recording was so good that they could not reproduce for other recordings…yes I agree. You won’t find this record for sale except here. Two very different sides to this beautiful dark red record. I love the promotional side showing RCA Victor and Nipper which is embossed.
Either way, I never see this record for sale. See closeup pics for condition. The record has been ultrasonically cleaned and is from a non-smoker’s home.
