Description
Here's a real treat for you lovers of radio, movies, and Christmas - it is an original PRESENTATION RECORDING of the MARCH 1, 1948 "CAMEL SCREEN GUILD PLAYERS" RADIO PROGRAM, starring CARY GRANT, LORETTA YOUNG and DAVID NIVEN in the holiday classic 'THE BISHOP'S WIFE" .
These three were the same cast as in the famous 1947 movie in which Cary Grant plays an angel who helps a Bishop (Niven) accomplish his goal of funding a new cathedral, while also rekindling his love of his wife Julia (Young). It's a holiday tradition.
The sponsor of the radio series, CAMEL CIGARETTES, routinely had special pressings of the programs to give as gifts to the radio cast members and other special friends. We have the entire broadcast (including commercials) on three 12" TRANSCRIPTION DISCS.
These are original 12" Lacquer base DISCS (like 78 records) and the labels are in excellent condition. The recordings are excellent with no skips or scratches.
See scans of the labels for both sides of the discs.
Will ship in sturdy packing...excessive shipping costs will be rebated via paypal for multiple purchases.
