Description
Here's an original PRESENTATION RECORDING of the JANUARY 19, 1948 "CAMEL SCREEN GUILD PLAYERS" RADIO PROGRAM, starring JOAN FONTAINE, PATRIC KNOWLES and JOHN SUTTON in the dramatization of the 1947 movie "IVY" .
Fontaine and Knowles were in the cast of the film, which Fontaine plays a woman who kills her husband to gain the affection of another man.
The sponsor of the radio series, CAMEL CIGARETTES, routinely had special pressings of the programs to give as gifts to the radio cast members and other special friends. We have the entire broadcast (including commercials) on three 12" TRANSCRIPTION DISCS.
These are an original 12" BLACK ACETATE DISCS and all labels are in very good condition (part one and part three labels are faded). The recordings are excellent with no skips or scratches.
See scans of the labels for both sides of the discs.
Will ship in sturdy packing...excessive shipping costs will be rebated via paypal for multiple purchases.

Made a mistake in the description - the discs are not acetates - they're lacquer base records like 78s.
