I have up for auction a record (78) on the orange and black ATLANTIC label circa 1950, great Rhythm and Blues label. It is #919 by Ruth Brown, Vocals with Budd Johnson's Orchestra. I am almost sure this is her first! Songs are "Teardrops From My Eyes" and "Am I Making The Same Mistake Again?". The record is in excellent to E+ condition, looks almost brand new; and looks to be from new old stock. No wear and scuffs or scratches are very few (if any), light and surface variety. Surface still very shiny and clean. Comes with a great Atlantic sleeve with caricatures of several of the Atlantic R&B stars of the early 50s era (including Ruth Brown on top right!).
