Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1950 RCA VICTOR RECORDS U.S. CERISE VINYL 7" 45 RPM RECORD IN AN ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE containing the gospel tunes titled 'Just Jesus' backed with 'I Walked Away' from the Freddie Evans Gospel Trio. It is RCA Victor Records U.S. catalog number 50-0079, packaged in an RCA Victor Records stock company sleeve.
RCA Victor coded their earliest 45RPM releases during the years 1949 and 1950 by style of music using different colors of vinyl for the different musical styles - Red vinyl for classical, green vinyl for country, and so on - Their cerise (pinkish-red) colored vinyl releases with slate grey labels contained blues, R&B, and gospel material and are by far the hardest colored vinyl early RCA 45 series to find.
I have enhanced the colors in my image of this 45 in order to bring out the faded label print on this 45 as much as possible.
Condition of record is VG with a moderate to fair amount of light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play and a couple of very small and light surface scratches which can be felt and which may cause some ticks. Label print is faded and barely legible as stated above, and both labels have some contact wear. RCA Victor company sleeve has some light creases and wrinkles and a few small tears.
This RARE CERISE VINYL SERIES EARLY RCA 45 would be a nice addition to any vintage RCA or gospel 45 record collection! $4.13 USPS Media Mail shipping. Shipping to areas outside the U.S. vis eBay international shipping. BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 in the above stated condition if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason.
