1950s Shostakovich the composer and pianist plays his Piano Concertos with Cluytens & the RTF Orch. First anywhere French COLUMBIA FCX 769 ED1 with the gold lettered Dowel Spine. Superb thick luxury sleeve and nice heavy vinyl to this lovely definitive lp, deserving of a place in any collection - who knows better than the composer himself how he wants his works to sound? Luckily for us the maestro was a great enough pianist, and Cluytens was the greatest of the French conductors. Lovely condition roughly 65 year old lp. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type.
