Description
One of a handful of Classical rarities from an Abbey Road employee we have just had in, see our ebay store for more pristine mono EMI plant pressings (although this is from the Decca plant!). As shown, all the plays of this wonderful early chamber music collection are recorded on the flips by the owner so we can note this was played just 14 times, and sounds as if in that condition also, very well looked after and perfectly stored when I bought them.
1951 Nixa BEETHOVEN Archduke Trio from Fournier, Janigro & Badura Skoda, an all star line up 1st UK press with the red/gold deep grooved labels and a fully unlaminated flipback sleeve. A lovely account, this played very nicely on an ortofon mono cart at 2.5 grammes, probably even more bass with the tonearm dialed a bit heavier.
No marks to playing surfaces, Near Mint condition record, in a Excellent sleeve. Record is not warped, labels are clean with very few spindle marks.
