Description

Here is a MEGA RARE 10" Jazz album offered up for auction: An original pressing of Miles Davis' album "Young Man With A Horn Volume 2" featuring Art Blakey, "Gil" Coggins, Percy Heath, Jay Jay Johnson and Jimmy Heath. This 61 year old hard to find Jazz relic has been well loved and is still an enjoyable listen!! Has the vintage 1st design super early "Microgroove" BLUE NOTE LABELS with the Lexington Ave NYC address! This album was released in 1953 on Blue Note BLP 5022 (mono). This heavy weight 10" 33 1/3 RPM record grades VG+, is clean with some of it's original luster, has many light marks on both sides, nothing heavy. Has has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, clear sound with some light noise, occasionally moderate, no skips no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The dead wax hand etching reads: Side 1 BN-LP-5022-A and side 2 reads BN-LP-5022-B, both sides have "ear" mark etching! (see photos) The early heavy weight cover rates VG, cover notes on back are all still readable, all seams have had clear tape repair(s) and cover is still intact, no tears or ugly damage, no signatures or writing, has two small red spots on rear, has age discoloration, some light staining, wear at center bottom (see photos).
