1953 Decca LXT 2857 MAURICE GENDRON with Jean FRANCAIX in the Schubert arpeggione and miniatures by Schumann arranged for cello & Piano. True orange gold unlaminated ED1, with the printers date confirming the year of issue. Someone has a 1957 French one up for $200. This is a long way off mint, but I was able to enjoy the music on my Ortofon Mono cart in a high end system, and would say I like this Gendron performance best of all. When I heard it previously on a different lp, a fake stereo pressing, it had not jumped out anywhere near as much. It wont get in better condition through the post to you, it just about scrapes a VG visually, so bear that in mind, and it would be £250 if it was Mint!. No others on ebay at time of listing, none in the finished since August either. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
