Description
Here is a R&B 78 RPM shellac style single from my collection offered up for sale: This is American Blues / R&B artist Johnny Ace, his 1953 hit single "Saving My Love For You" / "Yes, Baby", released by Duke Records 118. Johnny toured Ace was a major artist for Houston's Duke Records with 10 hit songs before his untimely death at the age of 25. He toured with "Big Mama" Thornton who co wrote "Yes Baby" with him.
Record rates VG, is clean and glossy with several light marks, has one more moderate feel-able mark, no chips or cracks, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays very good from start to finish, few light background pops, no skips and an enjoyable listen!
Will be shipped in an outer sleeve inside a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in a paper sleeve in extra cardboard, "sandwich method".
