1953 RecorDisc Hank Williams Sr Song and Tribute Poem Broadcast Radio Recording

This is an original Recordisc recording made in early January 1953 featuring Hank Williams Sr. song and tribute poem.  I don't have the equipment to listen to these recordings but I believe these are home recordings of radio broadcasts made in the days after Hank Williams Sr. died on New Years Day, 1953.  This discs measures 8" in diameter and has the original RecorDisc paper label on which the original owner wrote information about the broadcast including the name Hank Williams, the date of the recording and the song title.  

These records are part of a large collection of home audio recordings that were made in the early 1950s in Eastern Missouri.  The following information is written on the paper labels by the person that made the recordings:      

• Mansion On The Hill - Hank Williams - Jan. 3, 1953 
• Poem for Hank Williams - Eddie Hill - Jan. 3, 1953 

This disc has some scratches but looks to be in good condition overall.  I don't have the equipment to play the records myself but I believe this will play okay.  I have not listened to these records so am going off the information written on the labels by the original owners.  If the records will not play or don't have the contents written on the label then you can return them for a refund.  This is a RecorDisc but it is in a Wilcox Gay Recordio Disc paper sleeve.
