Description

Up for auction is the ultra rare original 1954 pressing of Storyville Presents Bob Brookmeyer featuring Al Cohn on STLP 305. Dead wax bears "S 1" and "S 2" and some kind of "squiggly line" before the #3 etched obviously by hand on both sides. 
Sleeve: EX+, with the front and back covers in wonderful shape and only a few slight scuffs on the top and bottom edge of the spine. No seam splits, no discoloration, overall amazing condition for something this old. 
Record: side -1 VG+/EX, with a few scuffs and light scratches that do not affect playback; side - 2 VG, with a few deeper scratches on and between the second and third tracks. 


I am a university professor of music here in the US who inherited this and other records (Blue Note, Norgran, Impulse!, Columbia, Prestige, Fantasy, Riverside, etc.) from a collector a few years back. I am looking to sell off some of these records to collectors/audiophiles who can get more enjoyment out of them than I can.
