Description

This is a true Holy Grail of R&B collecting! Hank Ballard and The Midnighters "Their Greatest Hits" 10" LP was released in 1954, and is one of the rarest records of all time, in ANY condition. Goldmine suggests a value of $10,000+ in MINT condition. and $1000-$2000 in VG. Admittedly, this copy is G- to G+, conservatively graded. Sadly, the previous owner tried to fix the sleeve damage with yellow and brown tape (see photos.) The last (and only) time I played the disc it played through fine, with only the residual surface noise you'd expect from a 60+ year old LP.  The label number is 295-90, and the matrix numbers are FLP-93 (side one) and KLP-94 (side two.)
