Lou Mecca originally appeared with Gil Melle on Blue Note 5054 and 5063 prior to his own session.

***767 Lexington Ave NYC is printed on both sides of label,  but not on album cover.  Rudy Van Gelder is the recording engineer as stated on the back cover, however RG is hand etched in deadwax on side 1 and RVG on side 2.
