Description
This is a very nice 1973 LP release titled "Country & Western Classic 1955" by Economic Consultants Inc. This is a compilation LP available through a mail-in offer, and contains two songs by Elvis, Johnny Cash and other artists. The Elvis songs are "Mystery Train" and "I Forgot To Remember To Forget." All songs are from original master tracks. The vinyl has it's original high gloss, just a few ultra light surface marks. The record has clean playback with nice sound and vocals, no detectable background noise during play. Labels look great, no surface wear at all. The cover is excellent, nice edges (no seam splits), a little corner wear, hardly any surface wear. LP has been in a protective plastic cover since purchase. The other LPs (1956, 1957 and 1958) will be offered in upcoming auctions over the next few weeks. Both vinyl and cover get a VG++ (Excellent) rating, close to NM. Side 2: 1) Folsom Prison Blues (Johnny Cash), 2) Old Lonesome Times (Carl Smith), 3) In The Jailhouse Now (Webb Pierce), 4) Your Good For Nothing Heart (Webb Pierce), 5) I Don't Care (Webb Pierce), 6) I Forgot To Remember To Forget (Elvis), 7) Eat, Drink and Be Merry (Porter Wagoner), and 8) Love, Love, Love (Webb Pierce). A nice LP for your Elvis or Jonny Cash collection!
