1955 LENNIE NIEHAUS VOL3 THE OCTET 2 with Jimmy Giuffre Bob Holman & Shelley Manne. What a band. LAC 12054, pressed by English Decca. This means superior vinyl and the outstanding engineering of John Palladino with Lester Koenig producing, who I can assure you was every bit the equal of Rudy van Gelder. Also Includes trombonist Bob Enevoldsen and Pete Jolly Piano with Shelly Manne and Monty Budwig rhythm. It's a cracking early cool to modern session from 1955 1st VOGUE Contemporary Jazz issue for this side of the pond. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records.
