1955 LXT 5014 UK DECCA ED1 Elgar Violin Concerto from Campoli & the LPO under Boult. Record in Excellent condition, sleeve is near mint, first type curved cut flip back with the 1955 printers date to it, fully laminated. Lp has the outer pancake groove to the 1st type orange with gold lettered labels. I got excellent playback on my ortofon mono cart, could be vg if you only use a stereo cart, this varies according to your set up. A favourite account of this lovely work for me. Boult is the only conductor I know who made acoustic recordings as a young man, and also digital recordings issued as CD only albums at the end of his life. All the other artists who made pre electric recordings are only on cd as reissues, if that makes sense. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
