Description

Lord Buckley and the Royal Court Orchestra under direction of His Grace, Sir Harry M.G.: Hipsters, Flipsters & Finger Poppin’ Daddies Knock Me Your Lobes. RCA Victor EPB-3246 (double) 45 EP released in 1955.

Side 1: Friends, Romans, Countrymen & Hiawatha b/w (side 4) Is This The Sticker

Side 2: To Swing or Not to Swing b/w (side 3) Boston Tea Party

Cover art by the great Jim Flora. Liner notes by Lord Buckley himself. The cover itself is in good condition with light wear at corners and slight discoloration. There is a one half-inch split at top (see photo).

This was part of my father’s collection and was always played on his 1950’s Silvertone hi-fi, along with his Lenny Bruce albums...some great childhood memories. I recently dug this out, cleaned and played it on my stereo. No skips or groove damage. Some pops & noise. Both records look clean with slight surface scuffs. Could definitely benefit from an ultrasonic or VPI cleaning.
