Description
THE SOUNDS AND MUSIC OF THE RCA ELECTRONIC MUSIC SYNTHESIZER on RCA Victor LM 1922 - THE SYNTHESIS OF MUSIC.
This is a phenomenally historic item for synth / moog collectors and experimental music fans. This 1955 release features extensive liner notes on the RCA synthesizer's development with schematics and photos on the back. Side one is demonstrations of frequency, waveform, envelope, intensity, portamento and vibrato all produced on the RCA Electronic Music Synthesizer. Side two features complete selections of standards and classical pieces like J.S. Bach's The Well Tempered Clavier. The music was performed by the staff of the Acoustical Laboratory - Dr. Harry F. Olson - at Princeton University.
Original 1955 “red seal experimental” pressing. MONO. Vinyl is strong VG+ (very few light scuffs, plays great). Labels are M-. Cover is strong VG+ (very light ringwear, no splits or tears).
