  • The Aladdins were a doowop group from San Diego, California. The were originally called the "Capris" and toured with Johnny Otis in 1954. The owner of Aladdin Records, Eddie Mesner, encouraged the group to change their name to the "Aladdins".
  • Cry, Cry, Baby was the group's first record.
  • Condition: Record has some light scuffs and scratches. There is one more visible whitish scratch that can be seen in the photos. Some light ring wear to the label. Label has no writing. Center hole has a small line crack--see photos. No original sleeve. I played both sides of the record on my old GE portable record player and there is no skipping. Record sounds fine for an old 45. This is an original record from the 1950's. I know because it is from my husband's personal record collection from when he was a teen in the 50's. Please look at all the photos carefully as pictures are the best description of condition.
