I'm not going to grade as find those terms ambiguous , one mans very good could be another's average.
However I will tell you how i hear it and see it.
Listened to whole album on a good system.
Side one played well , started with some slight crackle to be expected but soon opened up and very little to detract.  Occasional small pops and odd light crackle.  I listened to the whole of side 1 and found it to be a very clear experience in general for an album of this age.  Nothing that really spoilt it and just a few very minor age related audio imperfections that added to the atmosphere of the recording in my opinion.  I was happy to listen to this and thought it sounded very good for the main part. Nothing major to report.
Side 2 very similar if not better and an enjoyable listen throughout.
I said I would not grade but for a 1956 Jazz album I'd say audio is definitely on the very good side of things - I've heard far worse described as near mint !
The Cover is pictured , laminate lifting on one edge and a little worn on the opposite edge with a small split in the side wall but the colours are still vibrant on the main front cover and the back covers is very tidy.
