Description
This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1956 First year pressing of Uk decca Pressed Ducretet-Thomson DTL 93083 Silver text on red deep grooved original labels of Inghelbrecht conducting the Faure Requiem with the Chorus & Orch. of the Champs Elysees. Never understood why people pay fortunes for the ten inch of this when there is more music on this 12" same year issue, with most desirable 1B1B stampers. Clean rear flipback no spindle marks and playing surfaces are Near Mint. A decca pressing from the ffrr lxt era, with all the tube warmth and quality of mastering that implies. Excellent Record playing well on a mono cartridge, in a Good to Very Good sleeve.
This record is not warped, labels are clean.
