Description
Pristine mint 67 year old record from my personal collection of very desirable low plays 1st press mono's. Jack Montrose Presents Bob Gordon Quintet, Clifford Brown Ensemble, in his arrangements, which are west coast cool with a modal edge. Shelley Manne is the drummer in the Brownie set. The sessions were 1954, but the US album also did not come out until 1956 for whatever reason. These lovely Decca pressings have what is called the pancake groove when they predate 1958, meaning the deep groove is closer to the outer edge instead of the usual mainly pre 1967 groove I cm in from the edge.

If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
