You are bidding on one 1956 Peggy Lee Black Coffee DL-8358 first pressing radio station promotion vinyl in the original radio station cover. From KWSK in Pratt, Kansas, a downtown radio station which was on air from October 29, 1952-August 31, 1964, this rare radio station promotion vinyl is extremely hard to find! Please see the Keystone Broadcasting System letter dated 1960 to KWSK as proof of authenticity. By far, the rarest original Peggy Lee Decca album!

This is an assisted living downsize sale for my 83 and 79 year old parents.

Distributed by Decca records, this vintage vinyl album has been tested and is in Very Good plus condition with the original radio station promotional vinyl and green sleeve jacket. The record has a "deep groove", an indent about 1/2 inch from the edge of the label, which is associated with very early or first pressings. There are minor hairline surface marks which do not affect the quality of the listening experience. No skipping. No warp. No misshapen center hole. No ringwear. No discoloration. No split seams. Some wear on the label on Side 2. Some fading on the sleeve due to normal use. This vinyl was for radio station play and was not for sale and did not come with an album cover. Otherwise, great for special occasions or as display, this album sounds great with no scratches and is smoke and odor free with vibrant colors in very good + condition. The play-list includes:

Due to the pandemic,  pick-up is no longer available. This item has been packed & weighed for shipping accuracy. Why Postage is Expensive

For the fourteenth consecutive year, the U.S. Post Office has had a net loss. As of  February 2021, USPS had a loss of $9.2 billion. In the last decade, USPS has lost $69 billion. USPS projects losses of $2 billion each month due to the pandemic. UPS reported revenue of $18.05 billion in 2019. It may be convenient to blame me for postage rates, but I am not the problem. 

The further you live from me, the more shipping costs. It isn't rocket science, folks. Some sellers offer cheap shipping. And that's exactly what it is. If you enjoy broken stuff, buy it. I understand some sellers gouge on shipping. I have had the same handling fee for the last nineteen years. Have you had a cost of living adjustment increase in the last nineteen years?
