Sealed mint record (in that 50s way of the corner closed off) and Mint sleeve 1956 Laurindo Almeida Quartet Featuring Bud Shank on Pacific Vogue. The taped down corner is that darkened yellow of the era, and as you can see, I was able to peel it back at the other corner a little and it shows the shiny mint 67 year old lp underneath. I am going to venture this is unique for this specific title, finding a sealed unplayed one. As you will see in the records coming later this week, I have many near mint 50s modern jazz lps. They mainly came from the one source (like my Esquires), which now no longer exists, and I am only just deciding to sell after sitting on these for decades. UK ones tend to creep towards US prices when people realise how well made our 1st pressings are, these Vogues coming from Uk Decca in the Golden era of SXL classical lps, the gold standard of valve tube sound worldwide. Excellent Brazilian meets West Coast Cool flavoured vintage modern jazz album, great mix of modern Bop onwards tunes and self penned Brazilian tunes to it. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
