Description
Guaranteed original 1957 (recorded in '55 or '56) Des Moines, Iowa private press Rockabilly 45 by The Rock-It's (Robbie-Marv-Chuck) with vocals by Ralph Robbins. "Don't Stop Don't Stop" b/w "Frankie and Johnnie." No label name, E-1464 Side 1 (Frankie and Johnnie side) and E-1465 Side 2 (Don't Stop Don't Stop side) etched into dead wax. Very few of these were pressed and sold by the bartender at a club the band performed at. This is only the third copy ever offered on eBay, and it's been over 3 years since that one sold. This is also in better condition than the previous copy. Check out the Rockin' Country Style website (RCS) for a sound clip of this killer Rockabilly pounder with great vocals and guitar break! The 45 grades VG+. Nice gloss, has some light scratches and what I assume is a scuff that causes the grooves in an isolated area of the Don't Stop Don't Stop side to have an odd reflectiveness but plays great with a few ticks at the beginning and end.
