Description

THE MARKEETS R & B DOO WOP 45 ON MELATONE 1005 LABEL "TEAR DROPS"/"BABY PLEASE" Melatone Records Gardena California. About 1957 Both sides play very well. I give the sides a VG++ in sound. Both sides are slow doo wop ballads with a lead singer and about 3 or 4 back up singers. With ample use of a guitar and piano. The labels look very good with one label having a tiny number sticker. The wax has very bright gloss with no scuffs or scratches. NO cracks, chips or skips. Has a very faint warp that doesn't affect play. One side might be 1/100" higher than the other side and the warp can't be seen until it's revolving on the turntable. Will be shipped in a padded box. (see all 10 pictures)
