This auction is for a first pressing of the great 1957 LP Sonny Side Up, featuring Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Stitt and Sonny Rollins.
Original Deep Groove Verve LP featuring “Trumpeter” label.
Great jazz! And great LP!
The LP is VG+ with a fair number of light marks and scuffs along with areas that are glossy and clean. No feelable scratches and the light wear has no impact on playback.
The LP jacket is VG+ with some light foxing on the back, some edge wear (no splits), and a small bend on front cover that can be seen when tilted correctly in the light. The bend is MUCH less noticable in person. The light is highlighting it. It is in black and does not stand out like in photo. The LP comes with original Verve inner sleeve, however LP has been stored, and will be mailed, in a poly-lined inner sleeve.
This is a tough LP to find in this nice of condition. It’s a beauty collectors. Thank you.
