Description

This item is from a list of mono era collectable opera sets & recitals collected first-hand from a proudly-cherished record collection. As you can see, I have listed the Callas items first, but also included collectable conductors and other soloists who no opera lover would want to exclude. These HMV,  Columbia & Decca sets are in beautiful sound, and so well preserved as to be an ideal investment set. These were mainly played once to transfer to reel to reel, and have been stored archivally, as the pristine state of the sleeves and lack of spindle marks confirms. They look unplayed on the whole, incredible for the age of them.

Columbia EMI mono 3 LP set 33CX 1469-1471: Bellini La Sonnambula performed by Zaccaria / Cossotto / Callas / Monti / Ratti etc. Conducted by Votto at La Scala.  All 3 fully laminated curved cut flip back sleeves in beautiful condition.

UK blue/gold pressings.

Records in Near Mint condition and jackets in Near Mint condition. Made and printed in Great Britain

Stunning copy of this original UK pressing, blue/gold labels.  fully laminated curved cut flip back sleeves in beautiful condition. . It is in pristine condition and comes with original 1957 review & colour photo of the featured tenor Monti from the Gramophone. 

All three records: NM shiny flawless vinyl, playing near mint, very few clicks and pops even, which is quite something for first generation lps such as this.  fully laminated curved cut flip back sleeves in beautiful condition also.

When we post this to you, it will be packed in hard card custom made new boxes.
