Lovely near mint condition 1957 Vogue Jazz West Coast Vol.1 Chet Baker Zoot Sims Clifford Brown Lee Konitz, Gerry Mulligan, includes several Alternate takes and previously Unissued Numbers. Uk vogue LAE 12038. This is an anthology to accompany a book from the mid 50s on west coast jazz when it was very much a local scene, one that was obviously worth getting the rest of the world to know. Even though I have been a west coast fan for decades, this still had me seeking out albums by the people on it, and with people like Jack Montrose, I prefer his local work to the also wonderful Mingus dates, and his interplay with Chet raises the trumpeters levels. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e no extra charge after the 1st lp!. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
