Up for auction is the rare 1958 US original Jazz LP "Holiday For Skins Volume 2" by Art Blakey on Blue Note Records #4005. This is the deep groove pressing with the 47 West 63rd NY address. Visually graded using Goldmine standards, I would rate the vinyl as VG (Close to VG+) with nice shine and some light scuffs and surface scratches. No deep scratches but will most likely have light surface noise. The jacket is VG+ with no splits, a nice glossy sheen, one stain on the back as well as neat writing in light pen. Comes with original Blue Note inner sleeve. Overall a very nice copy of this sought after record. Low starting bid and no reserve! Record will be shipped in a sturdy record mailer with LP outside the jacket in a protective sleeve.
Holiday for Skins is a 1959 album by jazz drummer Art Blakey. Originally recorded for Blue Note Records in November 1958, the album was released in two volumes before being reissued together on CD in 2006.
