1958 ED1 Wide Band Grooved original recording by labels Decca SXL 2082 Boskovsky VPO Strauss Concert. 1st type issue with lowest 1E1E stampers, and a curved cut flipback sleeve & an ffss inner.
Very well reviewed, considered amongst the top three Johann Strauss recitals:
." It is the feeling of a common experience shared by all and sundry which distinguishes a record made at one of the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Eve Concerts when their leader, Willy Boskovsky, as primus inter pares, directs them— standing up, fiddle in hand, in the manner of the waltz king himself (Decca Stereo SXL2082). Here we are privileged to eavesdrop on the principals of the Vienna strings discoursing informally, by way of introduction, the first theme of another pillar of the Strauss Empire, Wiener Blut, until eventually the whole orchestra joins in and the Waltz stands in full bloom.

This record is not warped, labels are clean with few spindle marks. This played Near mint on a high end system, without being cleaned.
This will be cleaned on a wash and vacuum machine unless requested not, given a vpi antistatic inner and placed in a new heavy poly outer. We post in new custom made corrugated cardboard boxes, and this will be sent signed for, insured.
