Some heavy hitting modern jazz Lp collectables going in this week, my own collection so lovely condition rarities mostly. Check my ebay store!. 1958 John Coltrane Quintet With Red Garland Standard Coltrane on 1st year Uk Esquire 32-179. We are in rare territory here, does not come up on ebay very often at all. Certainly not recently and not at the moment. Lovely session of hard bop to early modal, with nice excursions in the standards. Plenty of fleet fingered Coltrane to this, unlike some of the Prestige dates where he is very much side man. The main attraction to these is they are UK Decca pressings, who unly used virgin vinyl, where Prestiges from the US are usually recycled vinyl. I have had more than one with bits of label paper in the grooves One stylus mark to S2 2nd track, so very good plus record in a very good sleeve name to rear, clean labels plays Very good plus on a mono cart. My ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
