Here is a RARE vintage original album and TWO singles offered up for sale: Ronnie Hawkins & the Hawks (later changed to THE BAND featuring a very young Levon Helm on drums!)  An AUTHENTIC 1958 first pressing of Ronnie Hawkins' album "Folk Ballads", plus four more songs on two 45 rpm singles "Ruby Baby"/ "Hay Ride", "Need Your Lovin"/ "Mary Lou" also both play worthy originals! The album, released in 1958 by Roulette records 25120 (mono), this is a first pressing with the 1958 dated labels, has a $50 - $100 book value!
The vinyl rates VG+/EX, is super clean and glossy, has a few small light marks, nothing heavy, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality, clear sound, minimal surface noise, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The cover rates EX, is clean, great color portrait of Ronnie with no ring wear, back is bright white, edges and corners have minimal wear, binder edge is EX and readable, no tape, no signatures or writing, back has a light stamp, opening edge has a bit of wear, looks minimally handled, well cared for cover.
