Description
This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1958 First year pressing of Uk Decca SXL 2045 Schubert Symphony 9 performed by Krips & the LSO. The definitive reading on this early stereo gem.
Blue bordered curved cut flipback sleeve with printers date of October 1958. Labels are ED1 with original recording by.. at ten o clock, with the wide silver band and ffss circle at 12 O' clock. Curved cut Flipback sleeve has the1st type blue ffss border & large curved stereophonic logo, and the pristine original company ffss inner is present. This is near mint with no marks to the playing surfaces or labels, has clean labels and the sleeve is Near Mint, with just a little laminate peel. Flips are unmarked, no pen or excess dirt, no splits or bends. Lowest 1E1E stampers. A while since a pristine number one stampers pressing has been here on ebay.
This record is not warped, labels are clean.Good selection of rarities in my list this week..
