This is from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1958 First Uk Decca 1st year pressing of the Telefunken LGX 66075 Elena Glazunov in Her step fathers Piano Concertos 1 & 2. To this date still considered the definitive recording. Beautiful elegant performances in decent sound, with Melichar conducting the Hamburg Philharmonic. Nice low 1D2D stampers. This is scarce.
curved cut flipback sleeve with printers date of August 1958. Labels are earliest type with original pancake outer groove & silver lettering on a black background as shown, one having a sample sticker to it. This is near mint, has clean labels and the sleeve is ExcellentPlus. Flips are clean, no pen or excess dirt, no splits or bends.
