Description

Here is a RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: The Champs album "Go Champs, GO!", was released in 1958 by Challenge Records CHL 601 (mono), this could be a 1958 1st pressing, has the 1958 newly designed two tone style labels and original cover with band portrait on Triumph Motorcycles, cool! This  R & B style rock music album features song "Tequila" by acclaimed saxophone player Danny Flores AKA "Chuck Rio" , was the 1st instrumental hit ever! 
The heavy weight record rates VG, is clean and glossy, has several light marks and a couple small more moderate ones on both sides, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays with very good quality, bright clear sound, with some errant pops, light noise in quiet spots/between tracks but no skips or jumps, a VERY enjoyable listen!    The cover rates VG/VG+, front is clean and bright, band portrait has great color and gloss with no ring wear, edges have minimal wear but bottom had a couple small partial splits neatly taped, binder edge is still partly readable, tiny corner bumps, back has some age discoloration and spot stain/torn slick near edge, has two vintage stamps on back.
