Description
Here is cool album cover art from my collection offered up for sale: Artie Shaw's "Any Old Time" album, released in 1958, this is a 1st pressing by RCA Records LPM 1570 (mono) with the "silver top Nipper" label design and printed inner sleeve, has original cover with clock artwork by Andy Warhol, cool! Music is Big Band/Swing with vocals by masters Billie Holiday (early in her career), Lena Horne and Helen Forrest, plus fantastic trumpet on classic song "St James Infirmary" by "Hot Lips" Page, a great listen!
The vinyl record rates VG, is glossy and clean, has several light marks and a few more moderate feel-able ones, has been PLAY TESTED, plays very good from start to finish, bright sound with light background surface noise, a couple light pops, no skips or jumps, an enjoyable listen!
The cover rates EX, is clean and bright, has deep colors with no ring wear, edges and corners with minimal handling wear and the binder edge is readable but has small splits at opening seams, front has a couple small rubs to slick near bottom/opening edge, back has very light age discoloration at edges, no signatures or writing, has been very well cared for! (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a . 3ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in the inner sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
