Description
Here is an album from my collection offered up for sale: An original 1958 album "Johnny Cash Sings the Songs that Made Him Famous" released by Sun Records SLP 1235 MONO, this is a 1st pressing, has the rigid vinyl with "Microgroove" labels, vintage white inner, beautiful cover! This is Johnny's 2nd album featuring classic songs "I Walk the Line, The Ways of a Woman in Love, Big River" and more! This is the third 12 inch album released by Sam Phillips of the great Memphis based Sun Records, HISTORIC Cash album!
The vinyl rates VG, has several light marks, only a couple small more moderate ones, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays very good from start to finish, bright clear sound with a few light background pops, nothing heavy, no skips or jumps, an enjoyable listen!
The cover rates strong EX, is super clean and bright, has great front portrait with minimal ring wear, edge and corners with minimal wear, no splits, no tape, binder EX and readable, front opening has just a bit of light wear, no signatures or writing, a well cared for and fantastically preserved 59 year old cover! Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will shipped in the sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
