Description
This is from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay. This week plenty of Violin, as here.
Lovely clean set of the first type pressing of the Uk Decca SXL 2064 & 2065 Kubelik & the VPO in Smetana: Ma Vlast. Everything needed here for first type issue, red lettering to the curved cut flipback rears, Original Recording by at ten O' clock and 12 O clock ffss circles. The sleeves are in close to pristine condition, as are the original ffss inners. Stampers are a nice low 2K2K2K3K. This played throughout without issues on my good recent moving coil. A majestic performance of a very beautiful work. Where some versions milk the chocolate box prettiness of some of the tunes here, this retains the big picture grandeur of the work.
This will be sent with additional antistatic inners, in new heavy poly outers inside a custom made reinforced cardboard box. We pay to send this insured, and it will be trackable to you.
This set is Near Mint with good sheen and no marks to the playing surfaces, has clean labels, and the sleeves are near Mint. It does not appear to have been played much over its years.
