Here are TWO vintage original records up for sale: First,  a RARE vintage album, an original 1959 pressing of the debut of Dion "Presenting Dion and the Belmonts" released 1959 on  LAURIE records LLP-1002.  The record grades VG/VG+, has been well loved and has sleevewear &  light marks on both sides, nothing heavy or that you can feel, The record has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, minimal surface noise, no skips, no jumps, a VERY enjoyable listen! a nice 56 year old classic!! The cover rates VG+, light wear, upper & lower seam neatly repaired. No writing or signatures. A price tag blemish near "Presenting.. and ink repair. (see photo) Binder EX and readable!
PLUS a vintage Buddy Holly Lp album  "SHOWCASE" album on Coral records CRL-57450, released after his tragic early death in 1959 along with Ritchie Valens and the "Big Bopper" in a light airplane crash. Dion and the Belmonts were friends with Buddy and also performing on the ill fated "Winter Dance Party" 1959 tour. (see Dion's memory of Holly in the Paul McCartney produced film biography titled "The REAL Buddy Holly Story"). This album features Buddy performing his classic songs "Shake rattle & roll", Elvis' hit "Blue suede shoes" written by Carl Perkins, "Rip it up","You're the one" cowritten by Buddy's friend Waylon Jennings, hear Holly's finessful guitar work on Bill Dogget's "Honky Tonk" plus rare tracks like "Ummm Oh yeah" found on Buddy's home 4 track recorder from his Greenwich Village apartment, and many more.This is a first pressing in (mono). The record only grades VG, has been well loved and has sleevewear & many light marks on both sides, nothing heavy or that you can feel, The record has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, light surface noise, a few errant pops but no skips, no jumps, still a VERY enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG-, is clean, front has great color portrait of Buddy, edges  have a couple partial splits neatly taped, binder edge is very worn, no writing or signatures, has some water discoloration & light damage on back near bottom.
