Description

1959 Pristine UK RCA SB 2053 Ravel Piano Concerto with French soloist Nicole Henriot-Schweitzer Munch RCA Living Stereo SB 2053, first red label deep grooved LP with large silver spot, pressed in England by Decca at the New Malden plant 61 years ago, although this looks like it left the factory last week!.  Stampers are 1M 1M, telling us this was a first pressing, which the EJ Day printers date of 9/59 confirms, as shown in the 5th pic.  Laminated flipback sleeve with back printed in colour (blue), with the red True Stereophonic text. Original recording by RCA, issued in the US as LSC 2271. 
Nicole Henriot-Schweitzer plays the Ravel Piano Concerto in G and the D'Indy, Symphony on a French Mountain Air.  Charles Munch conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra. This is an attractive early stereo rarity, but is all the sweeter for being in such exceptionally beautiful near mint condition. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type.  We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water.  This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
