Description
1959 UK RCA SB 2026 Elgar Pomp & Circumstance, & Bliss Things to come. The LSO conducted by the composer Bliss, who was held in high regard as a conductor also. Lovely Near Mint ED1 lp with the printers date placing this in the first year of issue, with the pasted over rear and red stereophonic lettering, also with the pink thickest paper type (i.e. 50's) stereophonic inner sleeve also nice and clean. A fully near mint sleeve with strong whiteness to rear, no bends, no pen no dirt, no warps, no marks of any nature to the playing surfaces. This was recorded in England, stated clearly to the rear as such, so this is the country of origin pressing, not the LSC2257 equivalent shaded dog. Silver spot grooved labels and best 1K1K stampers, which tells us this is the first off the presses, mastered by the excellent Tony Hawkins.
What I have heard of it plays near mint.
When we post this to you, it will be housed in a hard card custom made new box.
