Description
One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, all nice clean originals.
Near Mint playing surfaces first year issue with 1D1D stampers 1959 from the CSO under Reiner.
TCHAIKOVSKY 1812 Overture,Op.49. MENDELSSOHN:Fingals Cave,Op.26 (The Hebrides Overture) Side 2: LISTZ: Mephisto Waltz. BRAHMS: Tragic Overture,Op.81. Original UK RCA Silver Spot Grooved ED1 Labels SB-2059 true Stereo From 1959. Early red Stereophonic lettered Flipback sleeve is front Laminated, made by British Celanese.
Best for this stampers, these are pressed by Decca in the golden age of SXL's, receiving all the same loving care to produce great valve era stereo sound from the mastertapes.
1st type flipback red stereophonic rear lettered sleeve (I have shown the printers date of November 1959 in the 3rd pic), and the original company pink stereophonic inner is present. This has just two very light visual, non feelable surface marks, which do not sound on my high end system, has clean labels and the sleeve is Near Mint.
we send packed in hard card custom made new boxes.
