Description
This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1959 First year pressing of Uk Decca SXL 2034 RACHMANINOV Piano Concerto no.1 in F sharp minor op.1 & TCHAIKOVSKY Concert Fantasia in G Major op.56. Sir Adrian Boult & the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Peter Katin piano.
Blue ffss bordered curved cut flipback sleeve with printers date of April 1959. Labels are ED1 with original recording by.. at ten o clock, with the wide silver band and ffss circle at 12 O' clock. The pristine original company ffss inner is present. This is near mint with no marks to the playing surfaces, has clean labels and the sleeve is Mint Minus. Flips are unmarked, no pen or excess dirt, no splits or bends. Very Low 1K2K stampers.
