1959 UK Pye Stereophonic 1st type issue of the Beethoven Piano Cto No5, "Emperor" from Mindru Katz with Barbirolli & the Halle. I am pretty sure this is issued just before the Curzon Decca, making it possibly the first ever stereo lp of a Piano concerto, at the very least in Europe anyway. Nice Stereophonic logos to the rear of the flipback sleeve, overall excellent condition. This appears to be the best condition example to have reached the market in over a decade (a vg sold for £31). Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
