Description

1959 UK RCA Living Stereo SB-2065 ED1 Beethoven Symphony No 6 performed by Monteux & the VPO. A thrilling account, from the great maestro with the best orchestra in the world back then. This UK issue is the first anywhere issue 1D1D stampers attest to that also. Just the one v shaped shallow mark, no scratches, clean labels no splits or pen to the sleeve, but a small closed tear near the base of the front as shown in pic. Would repair to near invisible. The record is flat and plays excellent. Without the sleeve damage these go for three figures, it's an almighty performance.

Red with Silver spot Deep Grooved labels Decca Pressing in a curved cut flip back earliest type sleeve.   This has been cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid, has a new antistatic inner added and all resides, separated to prevent splits, in a heavy gauge new poly outer awaiting our careful packing in custom made hard card boxes.
